Cooling and maintenance of cooling equipment
Dec 15, 2024| The maintenance of cooling and cooling equipment mainly includes the following aspects:
Regularly check the coolant: Check the coolant every two weeks to ensure that the liquid level is between the lowest and highest marks. If any deficiencies are found, they should be supplemented immediately. Use antifreeze with a concentration of 40% -60%, avoid using released antifreeze, and dispose of it according to regulations when disposing of it
Clean the cooling system: Regularly clean the cooling system to remove scale and impurities. When performing a simple cleaning, fill the engine cooling system with clean water, start the engine for 5 minutes before draining, and repeat the process until the water becomes clear. Thoroughly clean with specialized radiator cleaner. Start the engine to normal temperature and idle for 20-30 minutes, then rinse with clean water
Check the sealing condition of the cooling system: Regularly inspect the sealing condition of the cooling system to prevent coolant leakage. Clean the rust and scale on the water tank to prevent restricting the flow of coolant and reducing heat dissipation
Maintain the water pump and radiator: Check for leaks or noise in the water pump to ensure stable performance. Clean the surface of the radiator to prevent dust accumulation from affecting the heat dissipation effect. Regularly check the cooling fan to ensure its normal operation
Replace antifreeze: It is recommended to replace antifreeze every 60000 kilometers or 2 years for household cars to ensure the normal operation of the cooling system
